TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Quality of the Fluids

The S100II and S200 snow machines feature an output power control for the snow effect.

This allows us to adjust the desired effect depending on the type of fluid being used. Keep in mind that, in many cases, to produce a substantial snowflake, the machine must operate at the lowest setting.

Maintenance

Although ANTARI machines require very little maintenance, there are always considerations and recommendations to follow in order to extend the machine’s lifespan and ensure optimal performance.

The first point—which we always emphasize—is the use of high-quality, low-residue fluids.

When a smoke machine has been used for a considerable amount of time, or has been operating at a high output level (around 50–60 liters of fluid in high-output machines and 20–25 liters in low-power machines), the heating unit must be cleaned by running cleaning fluid (FLCL5) through it in the same way smoke fluid is used.

Generally, ½ liter of cleaning fluid (FLCL5) is sufficient for machines up to 1,200W, and 1 liter for larger machines, although running more fluid than indicated will not damage the machine. (Do NOT apply this procedure to HAZER machines UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.)

If the machine will be stored for a long period (2–3 months), the cleaning fluid must be drained from inside the unit. To do this, run the machine with distilled water (never tap water) to flush out the cleaning fluid.

Run the machine without fluid until all internal tubes are empty, without forcing the pump to operate dry.

Quality of the Fluids

Using high-quality fluids in smoke and fog machines is essential both for optimal performance and for extending the equipment’s service life.

For this reason, at ANTARI we strive every day to create purer fluids with fewer residues, while maintaining or improving the characteristics that enhance the desired effect and consumption efficiency.

Experience shows that using low-quality fluids not only results in negligible cost savings but also leads—very quickly—to double or triple the expenses compared to the initial savings. This does not even account for transport costs for repairs or the downtime of the equipment when it is needed most.

This is why we place such strong emphasis on choosing high-quality fluids at ANTARI.

WARRANTY NOTICE

Blockages in parts or components caused by improper use or by fluids not authorized by SFaudio are NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. These defects will be treated as STANDARD OUT-OF-WARRANTY REPAIRS.

In addition to installing filters in all of its machines and systems, SFaudio submits all its fluids to a rigorous quality-control process to ensure optimal performance and maximize the service life of its machines. For this reason, we strongly recommend using our fluids to prevent internal blockages and achieve the best possible results.
